Kris originally was going to go along with Kim Kardashian's divorce plans, but it seems that he's had a change of heart. And it wouldn't be surprising if this had something to do with the way he's being portrayed on Kourtney and Kim Take New York - it's obvious that footage on the show is being carefully edited to make him look like the bad guy in the relationship, even though Kim is no angel herself (she's already hit her husband and enjoyed time with a nude male yoga instructor in the first episode of this season of the show).

So maybe Kris Humphries has decided to respond to Kim Kardashian's divorce papers by filing for a legal separation simply to spite her. But what's the difference between divorce and separation?

Unlike divorce, a legal separation doesn't actually put an end to a marriage. So is Kris having second thoughts? Some couples make the decision to legally separate before deciding if they truly want a divorce, and a legal separation would make it easier for Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian to reconcile later on if they wanted to.

However, according to People, Kris' plan isn't to try to win Kim Kardashian back - he's eventually going to have the marriage annulled. He might just be filing for legal separation now because it's a fairly quick process, and it might have something to do with tax season coming up.

An annulment is different from a divorce in that it basically makes a marriage like it never existed. In an annulment, a court would decide that a marriage was not legally valid. Reasons a marriage might be declared invalid include bigamy, incest, forced marriage, mentally incapacity, inability to consummate the marriage, or fraud. It will definitely be interesting to see what reason Kris Humphries has for seeking an annulment, but he'll probably go with fraud. After all, lots of people have claimed that Kim only married him for her reality show.

Kris' attorneys likely know that getting an annulment can be difficult, so that's probably why they're having him file for legal separation right now. Kris will have to provide proof that the marriage was based on Kim Kardashian's lies or misrepresentations. And if manages to do this, it will kind of make Kim look bad - so he'll get revenge for the way he's being portrayed onKourtney and Kim Take New York

Хотя на самом деле им важен паблисити и как только начинают меньше говорить о них у них в жизни начинаються крутые изменения выводящие их обратно на первые страницы бульвахных журналов...

Можно подумать до свадьбы он не видел? )))) Тут все рекламируют VelaShape, как способ избавления от целлюлита, типа им пользуется Ким. Теперь понятно, что это не работает... )))

Да, видимо как только шумиха о свадьбе улеглась и они исчезли с обложек желтой прессы, надо было что-то сделать чтоб снова там появиться... вот и разводятся Не удивлюсь, если Ким вообще эту свадьбу специально орагнизовала для своего пиара
