Վանի Աղթամարի Սուրբ Խաչ եկեղեցու խաչը սեպտեմբերի 30-ի երեկոյան տեղադրվել է Եկեղեցու գմբեթին:

Ինչպես Վանից տեղեկացնում են NEWS.am-ի աղբյուրները, խաչը տեղադրվել է ընդամենը մի քանի ժամվա ընթացքում: Այսօր` հոկտեմբերի 1-ին բոլորի, այդ թվում զբոսաշրջիկների համար այցելությունը Աղթամար կղզի փակ է:

Նախատեսվում է, որ հոկտեմբերի 2-ին Վանի նահանգապետն ու Պոլսո փոխպատրիարք Արամ Աթեշյանը կղզում կիրականացնեն խաչի տեղադրման հետ կապված փոքրիկ միջոցառում:
