Lilit Margaryan is an Armenian fashion designer, who is in fashion business for already 10 years. She was born in 1971 in Yerevan and from her early childhood, being only 5 years old she was engaged with arts studying at Art Studio of Hrachya Gabuzyan for 12 years. The professional fashion background Lilit got in the faculty of Applied Arts of Moscow Textile University in Russia with the specialty of fashion designer. There she studies 5 years.
In 1996 Lilit started her career as fashion designer working for two fashion studios in Yerevan, after which in 2000 she founded her own “Lilit collection” fashion house. She runs it till now and makes custom made exclusive and luxury clothing for her already large number of customers.
Her first individual collection Lilit demonstrated in 1997 and the second collection titled “Star symphony” was presented the nest year 1998.
Her first large individual fashion show Lilit made in 1999 with a collection titled “3-rd Millennium” of 85 looks. Second show was held in May 2001 again in Yerevan demonstrating a 83 looks collection “Return to femininity”. This May show was being translated by Fashion TV channel for a week.
Now Lilit dresses up celebrities of Armenia, costumes were made for Chamber Chorus of Armenia, for number of TV artists and singers.
A special collection and a show of Lilit Collection was made specially for Armavia Air Company’s presentation in 2004 at Zvartnots terminal.
One dress of Lilit’s design was presented to Paris Costume Museum “Galiera” in 2002 by the first Lady of Armenia and is demonstrated there until now.
Lilit has taken part at various international contests and exhibitions and won high prizes.
Lilit participated in Pret-a-Porter Yerevan fashion week in November 2006 with her fall-winter 2006-2007 collection.
