The world's most expensive Barbie doll is on display at the Barbie Basics Collection Launch during Rosemount Australian Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010/11 at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay on May 4, 2010 in Sydney, Australia. RAFW is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, with more than 100 designers showcasing their collections in 63 shows during the five day event...:P

По подсчетам специалистов, если бы Барби стала человеком, то при росте около 170 см ее вес был бы чуть меньше 50 кг, объем груди - 99 см, талии - 45 см, бедер - 84 см; нередко создателей Барби обвиняют в том, что ее неестественная красота, для многих ставшая эталоном, способствует распространению таких расстройств, как анорексия и булимия...:huh:

From the West Asian landlocked nation of Armenia, independent since 1991, comes this feminine, richly embellished Diva in an evening gown inspired by designer Marchesa.

Miss Armenia hits the runway in her strapless evening gown of midnight blue sparkling organza that begins with the dual layered bodice in midnight blue organza which has been delicately hand-beaded in a floral motif in soft, subtle shades of color.

The showpiece of the ensemble is her asymmetrical, large dramatic bow which is worn to one side on bodice.

Bow has been also accented with a rich, hand-beaded floral motif.

Gown itself, like the Marchesa original, has been unusually designed on a diagonal complete with panels that create slits on the top layer while the under-layer bellows out into a full flared hem.

Gown has been richly hand-beaded with same floral motif pattern consisting of soft and subtle shades of color.

A flowing, elegant evening cape consisting of three layers of fabric; a soft celadon blue 100% silk chiffon, an antique rose in 100% silk and finally, a top layer of gown’s sparkling midnight blue organza.

Cape attaches around neck via a bronze based metal and rhinestone colorful charm.

Drop earrings of rhinestone flowers with genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestone studs.

A bronze and copper metal and wired bracelet featuring genuine Swarovski crystal bi-cones that play off gown’s colors.

Chestnut hair with auburn highlights has been custom heat permed and worn in tight cascading curls.
